Academy Pass Outs 2011

Well, Its that time of the year when all the movie pundits sit and discuss about how movies have fared this year. Which ones are going to get nominated at the Big 3 [BAFTA, Golden Globes and The Academy Awards] and which ones are going to get nominated at the Razzies.

Okay, After spending around 2 days in research, Thanks to Wiki and imdb, Heres My list of Nominees this year. Assuming that the Oscars are still predictable and they apply the same "ground rules" as they always do when they are nominating.

Like, If a guy is mentally retarded and he's got a hidden talent such as playing ping-pong or counting cards he's got more chance of winning it than anyone else. For Eg. Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump, Dustin Hoffman in Rainman. If you go fully retarded, You might end up getting just a nomination Sean Pen for I am Sam. So, Like Robert Downey Jr says it... Never go fully retarded!! :D

Also, If an actor
(a) Agrees to bare all

(b) Act as a transsexual or as a homosexual

(c) As a person who is just in a real bad medical condition where they are about to die,

Will win it, Hands Down

Eg. Kate Winslet in The Reader, Hilary Swank in Boys Dont Cry & Million Dollar Baby, Daniel Day Lewis in My Left Foot, Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Capote and the list is long!

And Finally, If the movie has a tragic ending its definitely going to win!! This Includes Gladiator, There will be blood, Titanic :D

Enough with the crap, Now movies contending for this years prestigious and the most predictable awards are

Shutter Island - Best Director, Best Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Achievement in Cinematography
